Sheila feels that her leadership experience and broad community involvement have given her a depth of understanding that has allowed her to be of greater service to York County citizens during the twenty years she has been a member of the Board of Supervisors and she is deeply honored that the voters have shown their trust in her leadership by electing her for a fifth term.

. Sheila has a B.A. degree in Biological Sciences from the College of New Rochelle. Her mother, a widow, taught school for 30 years. Both Sheila's father and husband served their country in the U. S. Navy and were graduates of the U.S. Naval Academy. Service is a family tradition. Sheila and her husband, Charlie, a retired Captain, have been blessed with five children and eight grandchildren. They are members of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Chapel, Langley Air Force Base.
