About Sheila

"I am proud and honored to represent the York County citizens of District 2 as we face the challenges that confront us.  I like to use the phrase, 'Let's move forward together' because it is only by elected officials working in concert with the citizenry that we are able to accomplish the goals we set."

Sheila  feels that her leadership experience and broad community involvement have given her a depth of understanding that has allowed her to be of greater service to York County citizens during the twenty years she has been a member of the Board of Supervisors and she is  deeply honored that the voters have shown their trust in her leadership by electing her for a fifth term.

Sheila has a B.A. degree in Biological Sciences from the College of New Rochelle.   Her mother, a widow, taught school for 30 years. Both Sheila's father and husband served their country in the U. S. Navy and were graduates of the U.S. Naval Academy. Service is a family tradition. Sheila and her husband, Charlie, a retired Captain, have been blessed with five children and eight grandchildren. They are members of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Chapel, Langley Air Force Base.
